It looks like the person who (very graciously) shares their JFK data has returned and is back on line!

I don't know if I'm the only one who has missed having this feed, but I'm thrilled it's back.

Any shot they could leave the key under the mat when they go away? :-)
I would even volunteer to go and fix it, or RDP into their machine when the feed goes down.

Is there rehab for JFK feed addiction? I think I have to go.

That feed has more ups and downs than a roller coaster. Its been discussed over and over. People have made the same offers as you. I have my own receiver now. Cant hold out hope for that guy. Ta!
Ps. Its down again @ 2300 EDT.

You are right Daniel that the good JFK feed is like a roller coaster ride.

It seems to be more down than up.

I too Lance miss the JFK feed when its not online, but like Daniel don't hold up much hope for this good JFK

feed staying online 24/7 like the feeds in Europe.

I will get back in contact with the NYC aviation people to see how they are progressing in regards to setting up

a good JFK/EWR ADS-B feed.

I look forward to the day when JFK/EWR eventually gets a good reliable 24/7 ADS-B feed like Europe.

Great to see the excellent JFK feed back online.

It would be so nice if it stayed online.

I can only hope i guess.

It's nice to see that the feed is still up, but at this point seem more a tease...

It IS an excellent feed, and adds tremendously to the area's coverage and interest.

Thanks Paul, for contacting the NYC Aviation folks.  Having a stable, reliable feed would be wonderful.

I have contributed as best I could.

I appreciate it.

Thanks Daniel

I too am very greatful for all the contributors.

How did our gracious host fare with the hurricaine? Can the pinkfroot guys let us know how he made out? Does he need anything? My gut says he is without power and might be damaged by flood waters if he is that close to JFK. The airport is open to some extent because i am watching planes go up but nothing on planefinder which, at this point, is to be expected.

Hi Daniel,

Appreciate the offer of help.

One of the guys is okay and the worst is that there is no power.

No idea yet when this will be restored.

We're worried about the position on Long Beach though as we haven't heard anything.

Looks really bad through there but hopefully the guys there are have got through it okay.

I certainly don't expect to see the same data quality back anytime soon because of this.

Thanks for keeping your feed running and I hope that those around you are all okay.

Mark

Looks like were getting some good info from JFK once again. Hope people are making it back to normalcy a little.

Thanks Daniel - that is the site that was without power.

Long Beach feed is off and is the one that we're still worried about.

It is good to see JFK on the map again though :o)
