That will put the Royal Iris out of commission for a while, very sad

Yes - a sad moment for a good really old ferry - She is tied up in Eastham QE2 dock at the moment - lets hope damage is samll and quickly repaired. Thats the second disaster the people on todays journey have had - the first was cancellation due to the Barton bridge over the MSC collapsing! This was an apology!!!

Royal Iris was taken from QE2 dock at Eastham and beached on the shore between Eastham Lock and Bromborough Port for inspection 12/7/16  (Tuesday). and returned to Eastham QE2 Dock at high tide. Due to go to Cammel Laird for repair - ??
