Have just been looking at my mate's iPhone version of PlaneFinder, and he gets an actual photo of the plane when he taps to see the details of the flight, as well as the drawing. Is it possible to get this for the Android app as well?
I know, I'm getting picky now :-)
Cheers,
Al.

No indeed you are quite right!
This is something that is on the todo list and in fact I will be taking a look at the Android version early next week to try and nail the bug you mentioned and I will see if I can integrate the photos.

Got a quick mockup working today of it, needs a small amount of tweaking but I will get it uploaded to Google sometime Monday I would imagine...

Permalink Reply by Al Henderson on April 4, 2011 at 13:25 Just got the update from the market - I now have pictures :-) Thanks for your hard work! Do you rely on people uploading pictures to the site to show those? If so, how do I do it? I'll have a look and see if I can contribute anything..
Al.

Great, I plan to make that feature a little better in the coming weeks as a lot of aircraft in our system have multiple pictures so I will get that sorted.
Yes we do rely on people uploading them, just go to the photos section and click Upload Photos. Make sure any aircraft photos have the plane registration as a "tag" (this will become clear when uploading). Then a few hours later it will appear in the apps.
Thanks again Al,
Lee

I know, picky picky :-)

Not picky and embarrased I missed that. Thanks for that!
Fixed!
