I just happened to see some photos on another site recently and it gave the building date as 1960, Lubeck, Germany. The company I work for also operates a Trailer-Suction Dredge (Volvox Anglia) on contract from Van Oord in Rotterdam.

Ah van oord, original from sliedrecht holland.i was a paramedic, once, retirednow, and i did gave a first aid and cpr course for employees there. That was for guys who worked far from the civilisation and first aids posts! I showed them how to do intra venous injections and how to do and infusion! I completely understood their problems, because once, in my young days, i sailed for smit internationale on the world wide seas! And i saw once a man loosing his leg between a towingline and a part of the ship.... Luckily for him close to the port of rijeka! Our tug, a dry dock was stronger then his right leg.
