"The white colored planes are reported via ADS-B and thus are real time. The red planes are reported via database of scheduled flights and may be up to 5 minutes delayed. You can turn off the red planes in the settings panel toggling "show…"

"I second the improvements. I'm in the SW and just commented earlier in the week. I went from seeing 2 or three commercial flights to over 30 during a similar time of day. The developers are doing wonders with this app."

Lots of thunderstorms and a fire at the FAA control center in Atlantic City, NJ made for some pretty bad delays. A United Airliner in a hold over my home county about 50 miles north of Newark Airport was put in a hold, and was diverted to Stewart International 7 miles from my house. I was picking up the ADS from the plane at 0 altitude. See attached. See More

ADS-B Future?
Hi all,Attached is a screen capture showing a light one engine plane doing missed approaches near my house today. It is the first small aircraft I have seen here in the US that is equipped with ADS-B. Most of the traffic I see are international flights. Eventually all planes will be equipped with ADS-B here.I can only imagine what it will look like here in a few years when all are equipped! I guess I will have to filter some flights.MikeSee More
