It was certainly an interesting time following the Icelandic volcano ash cloud. Then we had BA strikes affecting air traffic!
We were busy too and have released v2.10 of all of our apps.

We have obtained some ADS-B receivers that we can supply Free of Charge to North America.
All we ask is that you share the data feed with us.
Obviously there are some technical and location criteria that will need to be met.

Plane Finder works by picking up ADS-B plane feeds used by commercial aircraft to transmit their name, position, destination and lots more.
Business Jets and other aircraft can sometimes be seen too.
ADS-B is gradually replacing radar as the most efficient method for air traffic control.
