Hurricane Irene - Watching the effects in Plane Finder and Ship Finder

Irene is hitting the North Carolina coast as a category one hurricane now.

Hope everyone is safe.

Amazingly most of the AIS and ADS-B user feeds, and our own receivers, are still online - even in the evacuated areas!

A big thank you to everyone involved in keeping these running!

love the shipfinder app but having problems

I was using the shipfinder app on my Android HTC Incredible phone but wanted it on something bigger so I bought a 10.1 inch Android 2.2 tablet. I was able to download the app to the tablet but every-time I try to open it, it crashes. I do know how to program and am familiar with android, so I know how to modify the build.prop configuration file. Can anyone tell me what parameters need to be changed to make it run?

Cowes Week 2011 Live Yacht and Ship Tracking

This year like those gone before there is a very well known event locally that goes on called Cowes Week. It is an event where the Isle Of Wight gets a great selection of racing going on in the Solent and around the island itself.
