Small plane carrying DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo crashes off Masbate, Philippines.

A small plane carrying Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo, who was on his way home to Naga from a conference in Cebu, crashed in the sea near the coast of Masbate province Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Can anybody identify this ship?

I understand that this is not going to be easy, but can anyone have a shot at identifying the ship in this picture, or even the shipping company?  I realise that it is a terrible image, but in my own defence it was taken from a moving ferry, at a distance of several miles, hand-held with a lens equivalent to a 600mm.  It was taken looking north from the ferry from Mull to Iona (Argyll, Scotland) in July, in an area not known for visiting cruise ships.…

First Scheduled A380 into Schiphol - See it again!

As reported earlier on planefinder.net we've been tracking the first ever arrival in Holland of a scheduled A380 flight.

Emirates Flight EK147 from Dubai landed in Schiphol a short time ago.
