A busy 24 hours on the events that we are currently tracking at pinkfroot

First the good news...

MSC Poesia was freed from the reef off of Port Lucaya, Grand Bahama Island at around 18:00 local time.

Thanks again to Capt d'Von Archer who even managed to get pinkfroot into the local news!!

Genmar Companion was also emptied of oil overnight and BW Seine is one her way to Texas with the cargo.

Bad news though is that Rena broke in two near Tauranga, New Zealand during a heavy storm.

We'll provide a separate post on the current emergency operation.

Special thanks to Nick Haslam for keeping us up to date on progress and sending through some superb photos of the ongoing salvage work.
