MSC Poesia Aground near Freeport, Bahamas

The Cruise Liner MSC Poesia has run aground at Port Lucaya near Freeport Bahamas.

Thanks again to Capt. d'Von Archer who has also now taken some photos of the MSC Poesia on the reef!

Captain Archer,

any more update? I see that tugs Svitzer Grand and Chub are still on station with two others leaving the incident.

Yes, they waited for tide to get high at 1800 she was pulled off with 4 tugs and a 5th tug standing by. At 2000hrs she was free and continued on her journey at 19.5 kts to little Salvador. So I assume minimal damage, if any! (with that speed!)
