Artemis departing Portsmouth Harbour at 10:45hrs on 12th September, 2008.
She was built in 1926 and started life as a whaling vessel that hunted whales around the world until the end of the 1940’s. The vessel was later converted to a freighter; sailing mainly between Asia and South America.
Artemis has been converted by her present owner into a replica tall ship. The interior has been designed specifically for corporate hospitality and provides a luxurious saloon and en-suite cabins with plenty of space for entertaining.
