After 18 months it is still with us... "Gavea Lifter", the mother of all semi-submersible lifting barges serving as a loading jetty at the Australian Marine Complex, Henderson. At a dead-weight of 50.000 tonnes it can lift two jack-up rigs in a single lift. I see it every week and hardly notice it anymore.
