'A Real Sky Warrior' with 40 years service Built by Panavia Aircraft GmbH. Family of twin engine variable-sweep wing multi-role combat aircraft. Jointly developed and manufactured by Italy, Great Britain and West Germany. First flight 14th August 1974, number built 992. Fought in the Gulf War, Bosnian War, Kosovo, Iraq, Libyan Civil War, Afghanistan, Yemen and Syria. ZA456 on the Burn from Squadron 9 formed in 1914 and based at RAF Marham EGYM Norfolk, livery celebrates 100 years of Squadron 9.
