March 14, 2024. The Staten Island Ferry Ro-Ro/passenger ship SAMUEL I. NEWHOUSE (IMO: 7702774), sailing by the Statue of Liberty in New York's Upper Bay between her Lower Manhattan wharf and Staten Island. Commissioned in 1981 for the New York Department of Transportation, she has a capacity for 6,000 pax, and sails under the flag of USA.
