This is United States Civil Air Patrol Search And Rescue (SAR) aircraft CAP1820 (currently transmitting MMSI 111368101 and their older call sign CF1820: CF is the abbreviation for CAP FLIGHT). In addition to performing its normal SAR functions, this aircraft, based in Bowie, MD, is supporting an assessment for the United States Coast Guard. The U.S. Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is an all-volunteer humanitarian service organization that performs airborne and ground SAR, Disaster Response, & homeland security missions.
