Commodore Clipper - 24 hours at sea instead of 9!

Passengers on the Commodore Clipper from Portsmouth to St Helier, Jersey spent 24 hours on-board overnight as the English Channel continues to be hit by the winter storms.

The ferry crossing normally only takes 9 hours!!

That must have been a very long night

Looks like it was keeping moving and staying sheltered!!

The 125 passengers must have been very pleased to set foot on dry land!

Colin Smith

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Colin Smith on the 30th September.

Colin was a great friend to the ship spotting community and was also an active member of this site for many years.

We know that Colin made some very good friends here and he will be both sadly missed and fondly remembered.
