Calshot is a tug tender at Southampton awaiting restoration. 

PLANS have recently been unveiled and the Tug Tender Calshot has been bought by a maritime restoration company. This is drawing up proposals to restore the vessel over the next three years.This is a summary of its history:- .

    • Hi David - thanks for the kind comment - and I just hope this leads to the restoration that is "promised"!! The Calshot has been sorely treated having been passed from City Council ownership to a Trust for £1, but which really had no idea how to save the ship. Hopefully my fears are misplaced........
