NAOC 73-1677 "31677" is a Boeing E-4B Advanced Airborne Command Post of the 1st Airborne Command and Control Squadron of the 55th Wing. It has electromagnetic pulse protection, nuclear and thermal effects shielding, advanced electronics, and a wide variety of communications equipment. Dropped into Perth to deliver US Secretary of Defence Leon Edward Panetta.
