      Thanks, Howard! Unless they're coastwise tankers or RoRos nearly everything that comes into this system is riding high and leaves with little freeboard, but there are exceptions. The Luminous Nova came into the anchorage earlier today and then headed right back out to sea and is currently at anchor in Gray's Harbor, about 100 miles north of here... that's a strange one, as bar pilot services aren't cheap. I'm not sure why she tucked in here for a few hours before heading north.
