For such an old and storied ship, she's still looking very good!
She's on her 11th name now since entering service as the Stockholm in 1948.
As Stockholm, she's most famous (infamous?) for the collision that eventually sent the Andrea Doria to the bottom off Nantucket, MA. She participated in the rescue of hundreds of Andrea Doria passengers despite her own heavy damage.
She was also attacked by Somali pirates.
And yet, she's still in service, and I'm wondering if that isn't some sort of record. In 71 years, there are lots and lots of opportunities for both good memories and misfortunes!
