The semi-submersible Blue Marlin arriving in Geelong's Corio Bay providing a spectacle for many a crowd who came down to watch as the new hull for RAN HMAS Canberra (LHD 02) hitching a ride all the way from Spain. This will be the third HMAS Canberra in the RAN. The first (D33) was abandoned and scuttled in WW2 after the Battle of Savo Island. The second (FFG-02) is now an artificial reef and dive site. This is the third and retaining its pennant number 02 and is due for commisioning 2014. Her new sister ship HMAS Adelaide (LHD 01) is due to arrive early next year.
