An Air Transat Airbus A310-300, registration C-GLAT performing flight TS-536 from Montreal,QC (Canada) to Cayo Largo del Sur (Cuba), was about one hour into the flight cruising at FL340 near Atlantic City,NJ (USA), when the crew reported one of the engines failed, declared emergency and requested to return to Montreal. The airplane subsequently landed on Montreal's runway 24R 2:03 hours after departure.
The Canadian NTSB reported, that the crew received an "oil filter clogged" indication, shut the engine down and returned to Montreal.
