The 17,019 gt bulk carrier, the CHERRY ISLAND [IMO 9675717, MMSI 35225100 ] was built in 2014 and is registered in Panama.
I photographed the CHERRY ISLAND on December 23, 2015 as she was alongside the private berth, Alcoa No. 1 in Kwinana Harbour [Navel Base] to load with bulk alumina for export.
She was built at the IS Shipyard, Imabarai, Japan and is managed by Shikishima Kisen HK of Japan and her beneficial owner is Ambitious Line SA also of Japan.
