Having been advised by Harbour Control to pass well to the right of the green boy on a falling tide the skipper took a short cut and promptly run aground. It was the morning of the departure of the Dunkirk Little Ships so the local skipper had a large audience of his impatience/predicament. luckily for him he was able to reverse off and mingle with the flotilla and safely passed the boy on he correct side.
