No registration numbers for this one... it's the first ("El Primero") steel-hulled yacht constructed on the west coast of the US.

Built in San Francisco in 1893.

Thanks, Howard and Jack... that "tidying up" part seems to be a bit of a money-hole... the project has been ongoing for several years. But at least she's still afloat! I'm told that she's capable of making headway on her own, too, but I have yet to see evidence of that. She's been host to at least one US President (Teddy Roosevelt) and lots of other dignitaries. It would be wonderful to see her restored to her former glory.
