G-FIRE, Lancashire Aero Club's (LAC) fire training rig in 2004.
LAC used to be based at Barton Aerodrome, now City Airport Manchester. EGCB
This rig was made for the RFFS at Barton and could be used in either high or low wing configuration. It was (is?) piped up for use with bottle gas to simulate actual fires and could be towed, seen here in use during an off aerodrome exercise in 2004.
