August 15, 2017. Royal Canadian Yacht (RCYC) tender, HIAWATHA, (IMO/MMSI unknown), at the club's Toronto Island jetty. Built by Polson Iron Works Ltd. in 1895, she is used occasionally now to ferry club members and guests between the RCYC's facilities city-side and Toronto Island facilities. She is the oldest passenger vessel operating on the Great Lakes and the second-oldest passenger vessel operating in Canada (SEGWUN on Muskoka Lake is the oldest). Her original steam, and later gas, engine has been replaced by diesel power.
