The vehicles carrier Hoegh Tokyo [IMO 9285483/MMSI 257408000] departing Fremantle Port through the harbour entrance channel into Gage Roads and then on to Melbourne on July 31, 2015.

The Norwegian flagged Hoegh Tokyo was built in 2004, has a gross tonnage of 68,871 tonnes and a dead-weight of 27,100 tonnes and a car equivalent capacity of 7,800 ceu units. She is managed out of the Norway by Hoegh Autoliners Shipping AS.

She has previously been known as Haul Tokyo and Alliance Beaumont.
