Hurst Castle / Hurst Point Low

Hurst Point Hampshire 8/8/20

  Built 1866 and 1911 (2 lighthouses) in Hurst Castle. The older (left) is inactive since 1997 the newer is active.

  Hurst Castle is an artillery fort established by Henry VIII  between 1541 and 1544

    Fascinating area Jack - ferry trip to the castle and even a narrow gauge railway ! what could be better
