Avro Lancaster Mk. 10, C-GVRA

October 13, 2008. Canadian Warplane Heritage's famed Avro 683 Lancaster Mk.X, C-GVRA, at Hamilton Airport CYHM. One of only 2 airworthy Lancasters currently, she was built in Canada by Victory Aircraft in 1945 as RCAF FM213, c/n 3414. She is painted as RCAF KB726, Code VR-A, in memory of P/O Andrew Mynarski who was awarded the Victoria Cross posthumously for gallantry and is called the “Mynarski Memorial Lancaster”.
