Thank you again. I watched this PC-12 OE-EHA arriving into Blackbushe (BBS) on PlaneFinder whilst I was at Farnborough (FAB). It hadn't previously been photographed on PinkFroot. I called into BBS on my way home from FAB (as I usually do) and thought that I saw it on the ramp when I arrived. By the time that I had parked and got my camera out, it had vanished. I asked someone and it appeared that it had just departed. Fortunately runway 07 was in use (a longer taxy) so I rapidly changed the lens to the 100-400 and caught it on departure. If it had been departing from the more normal runway 25, I might have missed it because it would only have had a short taxy from the ramp and, anyway, it would have been an on-the-ground shot. I prefer photographing aircraft when they are doing what they are supposed to be doing, i.e. flying.
