July 7, 2022. Toronto Island Car and Passenger Ferry MV ONGIARA (IMO: 6410374, MMSI: 316045066), plying the 2 km route between the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal in downtown Toronto and Hanlan's Point. Built in Owen Sound, Ontario by Russel Brothers and commissioned in 1963, she has a gross tonnage of 180 t, and carries both passengers (220) and vehicles (10 cars or 8 trucks). She is operated by the Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division of the City of Toronto.
