This MD11 airline Martinair Cargo, which originated in the Netherlands , had to return to Tenerife South ( Reina Sofia ) Airport after an explosion at one of its three engines, March 9, 2014 as information captured by unofficial routes and there is graphic evidence . The event took place at dawn yesterday, and the alarm went off a few minutes after takeoff Island bound for Sao Paulo , where the incident occurred .
Despite the severity of the event, the captain of the aircraft had no trouble controlling it , favored by the small aerodrome traffic at that hour, and after an engine fire , rolled several times in the air to get rid of fuel and could take land without major problems.
Specifically , the plane is a Boeing MD- 11F and carrying in its hold several horses whose fate was an international event and various materials.
