The post-panamax container ship, the Rio Barrow [IMO 9216999/MMSI 636090916] departing her berth at Fremantle Port, August 4, 2015. She was heading to Sydney.
The Rio Barrow was built in 2001, she sails under the Liberian flag, has a gross tonnage of 65,059 tonnes, a deadweight of 68,142 tones and a TEU capacity of 5,551 units. She is managed by MPC Munchmeyer Steamship-GEU of Germany. Her beneficial owner is the German company, Ahrenkiel Steamship GMBH & Co.
She has previously been known as the CSCL Hong Kong, MSC Hong Kong, and the Navegantes Express.
