Not the greatest shot this as I was too far away.

I would have made more effort if I'd realised that she was about to leave her home country for the very last time.

Even more amazing is that this is the last cruise ship to have been built in the UK - and that was in 1973.

That sad fact isn't going to be changed anytime soon either!

Saga Ruby is in the Caribbean for a month before becoming a hotel in Singapore.

Saga Ruby was built by Swan Hunter on the Tyne for Norwegian American Line and named MS Vistafjord. In 1999 she was sold to Cunard and renamed RMS Caronia. She has been MS Saga Ruby since 2004.
