March 14, 2024. The Staten Island Ferry Ro-Ro/passenger ship SAMUEL I. NEWHOUSE (IMO: 7702774), in New York's Upper Bay between Staten Island and her Lower Manhattan wharf. Commissioned in 1981 for the New York Department of Transportation, she has a capacity for 6,000 pax, and sails under the flag of USA.
