      This entire river system is largely export-based. Laden bulkers are unusual, but not completely unheard of. I just captured one this morning. The majority of the ships at anchor here are awaiting spots at grain terminals (mostly wheat) upriver.
      The Columbia River watershed is about the same size as France, and a good portion of the center of that area is prime soft white wheat growing territory. That type of wheat goes into a whole lot of noodles!
