Some years ago while on an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Chicago. As we were passing the West Coast of Ireland when the Captain announced that one of our sister ships was going to come alongside and that we would be separated by 1000 feet and that we were not to be alarmed by the site of another aircraft so close to us. It was the Aer Lingus Dublin to Boston flight which was basically travelling in the same direction. I have to tell you it was fantastic to see another commercial aircraft at 30,000 feet and only 1000 feet between my window and them. I saw this as a photographic opportunity and now I share the photographs with you. Sincerely, Séamus Murray
