TIMESAVER II in Lake Ontario

August 2, 2019. TIMESAVER II drilling rig seen to the left of the support barge in Toronto’s Ashbridges Bay, Lake Ontario. The rig is conducting a geotechnical bore hole drilling investigation for a new outfall shaft planned for the Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant. When in operation by 2023, the new tunnel will carry treated and disinfected effluent into Lake Ontario. IMO # unknown.
