      It's rare to find a boat in this attitude and position. So rare that I don't think that I've ever seen it before. I'm not at all sure about what they were doing.
      But it made for a decent shot!

      This was taken from what amounts to the front porch of the Columbia River Maritime Museum. If good small-craft shots were the norm from there, they'd be all over the place... but it's a very shallow area, so not that many boats dare drift into that range.
