The chemical/oil products tanker, Vacamonte [IMO 9402691] heading out of Fremantle Harbour to anchor at Oil Refinery North Anchorage on November 7, 2015. She has been in and out of the harbour a fair bit in the last month or so I believe undertaking repairs. Today she was heading out pulling at least three “land mines” alongside her starboard side. I couldn’t see her port side so do not know if there where even more. I thought the Captain had shown poor seamanship initially as I spotted the lines hanging off the sides. It was only as she came alongside Rous Harbour entrance did I see the “land mines."
