Built by De Havilland Australia, VH-ADN (c/n 5009) was delivered to QANTAS as VH-EBT in November 1951. Later was sold to Air Fiji as VQ-FAP when QANTAS disposed of its Drovers in 1960, and later operated as VH-ADN for the RFDS.
Only 20 of this type were built and eight aircraft survive today. only three are known to be airworthy
