The Hong Kong flagged, 75,582 gt 304.15 m container ship, the WASHINGTON [IMO 9398216 ] on approach to berth at the Patrick Stevedores operated No. 8 NQ berth, Fremantle Port on Friday July 21, 2017. Due to her size (largest container ship I have photographed at Fremantle Port) and/or the weather she was assisted Fremantle Port's three tugs: Svitzer Eagle, Svitzer Falcon and Wambiri.
The WASHINGTON , who was formerly known as the APL WASHINGTON , was built in 2009, and sails under the management of Synergy Management Ltd of China. I could not identify her funnel marks.
