August 30, 2014. 200 ft. tall ship “Empire Sandy,” IMO Number 5071561on Lake Ontario near her base in Toronto Harbour. Built as an Englishman/Larch Deep Sea class tug in the U.K. in 1943 (UK official Number 169167), she was converted to a 740 ton schooner in 1979. Registered in Thunder Bay, Ontario, she is now owned by Nautical Adventures Ltd.
